The rich and famous get remembered but most everyone else is left with a short obituary which is published in the local newspaper for one or two days. That obituary usually consists of a photograph, a list of family members, a short recap of their life, and a notice of the upcoming funeral service…but not much more. An obituary can also be pricey.  For example, a short 22-line obituary in the New York Times can cost in excess of $1,100. We started thinking about our own friends and family, and thought, “What can we say about those who raised us or meant so much to us?”
